So has the chairman of the Supreme Election Council (YSK), Ahmet Yener, announced at the media conference he has held with members of the Board.
According to preliminary results, Erdogan has received 49,51 percent, 44,88 percent Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, 5,17 percent Sinan Ogan and 0.44 percent of Mr. Muharrem ♫nce“, Yener said. Muharrem Incre had left the candidacy a few days before the elections.
According to him, even though 35874 votes abroad have not been put into the system, they do not influence any candidate to secure the majority to win the elections.
The runoff will face Erdogan and Kılıcdaroğlu in the runoff, which is held 28 May.
This is expected to be a major challenge for Turkish President Erdogan, who earlier won without a run-off.
