Austrian Eurodeput addresses the five-year EU: You must recognise Kosovo, it is an independent state

Austrian Eurodeput Thomas Waitz, in the European Parliament, has spoken about Kosovo, where he said Kosovo is an independent state and has urged other states to recognise it. He told Spain, Romania, Slovakia, Cyprus and Greece that they must recognise Kosovo as a state and have peace in the Western Balkans and EU enlargement.
“Spain, Romania, Slovakia, Cyprus and Greece: #Kosovo is an independent state. It's time to meet him. This is vital for peace in the western #Balkan and #Enlargement of the EU”, he said at the European Parliament.

We remember that this week the European Parliament has adopted two annual resolutions for Kosovo and Serbia, “through which the invitation of the two countries to be constructive in the dialogue on normalisation of reports, and this normalisation should include mutual recognition”.
The Kosovo report repeats the invitation for five EU states that do not recognise Kosovo's independence, to do so.
