The tunnel, which will form the Y letter, will continue from this road to high school “Sami Frasher” and the small circle in Pristina's old municipality.
This project, as Zogaj said, in addition to assisting the flow of communications, will serve as a zone for pedestrians, returning the old <x0-caldram to the city”, where the capital's main mosques are.
“A project of special importance and a key focus of President Rama is also the tunnel on the road '%Agim Ramadaniı, which is behind the theatre and continues to the high school Sami Frasherı and to the small circle here in Pristina municipality. It's a tunnel shaped like Y”, he said of EO.
On the other hand, Zogaj has said implementation is expected to begin in the spring of 2017, as he explained the idea of the tunnel.
The key is to get cars underground into the tunnel, and on earth it's all for pedestrians, and to return the old view to the old city of Pristina, where there are main mosques, from Chashi Mosque to the Great Mosque. We want to turn the old cobblestone back to the city and turn into a pedestrian zone”.
We're actually designing it, after the design is announced the tender, we choose the implementation company, and in the spring of 2024 we start with implementation”.
Pristina's deputy chairman has said there are about 90m euros for capital investments, some of the past years, which will be used for hundreds of projects.
Among the main projects, he has named construction of the A Street, continuing B Street, “Geroge Bush” and multi-functional sports hall in Downtown.
From 2021 and 2022, we carry about 50m euros for capital investments. We have 40m euros in capital investments in 2023. So we have a sygnifiant budget for capital investments”.
We're talking about hundreds of projects, and among the mains is building A Street, which we're starting very quickly now in the spring. It's also the construction of a multi-functional sports hall in Downtown. We also have several roads built in Pristina, the continuation of the B Street, which then relates to the A Street. There are also projects related to greenery and public spaces. One of the projects is the continuation of the square to the cathedral. We're designing the “George Bush”, following the design, we're also starting with implementation of the” project.
Asked by EO for the co-genogenitation project and the deployment of solar placards, Zogaj has said they are in the phase of early studies and that these projects will help expand central heating.
We're in the first study phase because a consulting company is being selected. It is a project of nearly 100m euros. We have had extraordinary co-operation with international donors and organisations, such as the EBRD, EU funds and KFA. And I believe this project starts in 2024 and lasts two or three years. It helps Termocos and citizens to expand the central warming that is being demanded a lot”.
While he has also talked about co-governing with the PDK and reporting with the opposition.
The “with the PDK are in co-governance and we have a very good functioning of the coalition. On the other hand, we also have an opposition, which is the great opposition, the Vetevendosje Movement with a third of the municipal assembly, but also the AAK and the AKR. We also have good cooperation with them, without confrontation, but with constructive debates”.
