On behalf of the Government of the Republic and the people of Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti once again expressed condolences to President Erdogan, and through it, family members of earthquake victims and all of Turkey's people.
He also thanked President Erdogan for the generous hospitality in Istanbul on February 3rd, where they had an extremely productive meeting that will serve for further strengthening of lasting relations and friendship between our two countries.
Kurti said Kosovo is a country not large but with a big heart, which has witnessed generosity to all in their difficult days.
Even against Ukrainians and Afghans. Kosovo is and will always stay close to friendly states in their difficult days, especially Turkey”, he has said.
President Erdogan thanked Prime Minister Kurti for full solidification with the state and the people of Turkey, which is facing the worst disaster in this century. He thanked for the decision on support and assistance, for KSF members who did their search-for salvation in the ruins, as well as for declaring the day of mourning in Kosovo.
“U discussed the last meeting in Brussels for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, what President Erdogan welcomed the outcome achieved, expressing his support to Prime Minister Kurti and willingness to help”, the Kosovo Government Community says.
