On Saturday, October 21st, the five Western citizens brought a new plan for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.

After the meeting Lajcak and Kurti came out with their statements.

Lajcak said that” whatever condition, or any delay for normalisation of relations is unacceptable”, stressing the expectations of the European bloc from Kosovo and Serbia that “completely meet their obligations within the” dialogue.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti's office announced that Kurti had told diplomats that the top priority is state security.

“The main priorities and urgent issues for the Republic of Kosovo is the security of the state and citizens, of borders and territory”, asking for “qualitative rectification” and “approach, and that discussions should continue intensively. I thank and appreciate five emissaries for their new plan to move forward”, Kurti said.

Regarding Kurt's stances against Association, the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and messages left by Western emissaries, former VV Chairman Visar Ymer has spoken of Front Online.

Ymer appreciated the position of diplomats expected.

He said the meeting was aimed at accelerating the dialogue process.

There have been no surprises since 24 September. The US and EU are seeing the safest chance of escaping tensions is implementation of the plan, not as the government has claimed. On Saturday we realised that nothing has changed here has been required to speed up the process of dialogue in the sense of implementing the” agreement, Ymer says.

He said Prime Minister Kurti does not love association but will implement it because he has accepted it.

Ymer says that before the need to remain in power Kurt must see the country's interest.

Kurti's stances aren't as he did, he's changed to each point of VV passed somewhere for better or something. Association doesn't want Kurt but it'll be applied for accepting it. Kurti has now accepted the timing of implementation, the prime minister must put the country's interest forward more than the need to be in power”, Ymer stressed.
