Association for recognition defacto, Hill: We're talking about elements that we believe Kosovo and Serbia are hired

US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill has said today that the proposal for normalisation of reports between Kosovo and Serbia has long been on the table and that the two states must reach an agreement as soon as possible, RTV writes. Many things are happening in the world, and I think [...]
There are many things going on in the world, and I think as far as dialogue is concerned, the agreement should be as Lajcak said -- as soon as possible. We know the elements of the deal are on the table for a while. They have to do with association, they have to do with a large degree of internationalisation that Kosovo is looking for, Hill said.
According to Hill statements, everything is clear since the elements of the agreement have been discussed for a long time.
“They are especially highlighted during meetings in Ohrid. It's really time to move quickly and move forward”, Hill said before reporters asked whether the EU and the US have set a deadline for agreement.
Ambassador Hill has wanted to comment on Von Der Leyen's statements, that Kosovo should establish association and Belgrade must recognise defacto Kosovo.
“I can say that from my point of view, we're talking about specific elements that are on the table and that we believe are mutually reconciled. The biggest and most important element for Serbia, of course, is the formation of association. There are other elements related to Kosovo's desire for greater internationalisation”, the American ambassador has said further.
As he said, all these elements should be determined with some accuracy so that there will be no misunderstandings during the transition to the implementation phase.
