CEC: 48 hours for complaints, final results announced

After the outcome of the vote count, the Central Election Commission has announced that the right to complaint concerning management at the Municipal Counting Centre and the Counting and Results Centre is a right that the parties have been able to exploit consistently, within 48 hours of the alleged violation.
CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi said that for the last day's counting management, under the Law for General Elections, complaints could be handed down in writing to the Election Panel for Anxiety and Parascre within 48 hours of the alleged violation.
In the event that within 48 hours there will be no complaints concerning the counting management on the last day, the CEC is ready to proceed with the proclamation of final results, while if there are complaints, then the CEC will wait for the decision making of relevant institutions and will implement the decisions if they impose the CEC and only then can declare final results”, he said.
