These statements, Berisha made until he was sworn in, the work punishable up to three years under the Penal Code.
On the commission, Berisha spoke about the scandal of washing up the independences in which it was involved. He had admitted to working as an adviser at the Serbian company GEN. However, Berisha had said that since the ambassador in 2020 there has been no contractual relations with the company in question.
Although he made that statement under oath, the facts say otherwise.
