SBASK's announcement:
Nowadays, teachers have been misled, dignity has been violated, and they are historically known for their sacrifice over the years. Teachers have experienced this through the 1990s, while their skin still remembers authoritarian attitudes and systematic violence with the aim of subjecting the education system. Since the postwar war last month, it is the first time teachers experienced the same situation. Lower the dignity of the teachers, and you will have a submissive and uncritical people.
The angry government continued with the teaching process, calling us not only illiterate, but also sold by hostile agendas, even instruments of opposition parties, which are pathetic and infantile attempts. The government showed that there is no priority for developing education through the quality and dignified engagement of teachers.
As a result of the lack of real social dialogue, the sincere request of the parent council to be with the children and to start the school year, to prevent the influence of government experts with divisive agendas of our collective school and suspicion that the strike is needed by the Government to keep public attention towards the strike. Seeing that after all our efforts to have real dialogue and find solutions to legitimate requirements, the Government continues the wrong approach and the commitment of even those with authority and the arrival of the Union of European Education Union (ETUCE) that was the voice of strikers and brought demands on behalf of 11 million colleagues from all over Europe to realize the legitimate demands of the strikers, but Kurti and the government continued to testify that it would not resolve the demands of the strikers.
From this strike council of the SBASK based on collective contract and according to the strike law, and analyzing the strike's performance so far, requires the opinion of strike membership from nests to universities regarding the idea of suspending the strike most distant until January 2023, and for strikers to return to school from October 3rd to 2022.
The SBASK will continue efforts to bring teachers back to dignity through social dialogue with the government so the basic conditions can be met:
1) Additional wage support up to implementation of the Law on Salats, and according to economic growth
Including inflation rate;
2) Fulfilling Change of Law No. 04/L 131 for the State-funded Pension Scheme,
to remove the criteria of 15 years of contributing,
3) Completing Health Insurance Law
