The total foreign direct investment in the second quarter was 337m euros, or 43 percent more than the same period last year. The figure is increasing by 13.5 percent compared to the first quarter of the year.
The Italians were the top investors with 45m euros, followed by the Dutch with 38m euros and the Germans with 26m euros.
Foreign direct investments exceeded 1 billion euros last year, while from current data this year the figure could amount to 1.2 billion euros.
