Serbia's Assembly has chosen its deputy speakers today. Bozidar Deliq has also been elected among them, with a criminal record.
Bozidar Delic was part of the Serbian Army in the wars between Serbia and other Yugoslav republics. Media in Serbia mention he was on the battlefield in Dubrovnik during the war with Croatia.
Deliq was the commander of a brigade during the Kosovo war, and in 1999 he was promoted as general.
He witnessed the defence in the trial against Serbian family leader Slobodan Milosevic and Serbian General Vladimir Lazarevic.
Deliq has been several parliamentary mandates in Serbia's Parliament, and in 2016 he was competing in the election as part of the Serbian Radical Party, led by war criminal Vojslav Seshel.
