Earlier, Kurt announced that there has been today a telephone conversation, as he calls it fruitful “”, with State Department adviser Derek Chollet.

Kurti has said he has talked to Chollet about dialogue with Serbia, focusing on the need for reaching a deal based on mutual recognition.

Also, Kurt has stressed Chollet's greetings followed a meeting they had last month in Washington.

Paralysing the meeting in Brussels with Vuciqi, Kurti has declared that he is a tough negotiator, but that he respects the agreements reached, while Serb leaders are looking ahead with distrustful statements to Kurti, raising doubts about his peaceful goals in the region.
