A vegetarian woman has been sentenced to life imprisonment after her little son died of malnutrition.
39-year-old Sheila O'Leary, who was pursuing a very strict vegetarian diet, was found guilty of six charges weighing heavily on her, including murder and child abuse.
After the decision was issued by the Florida Court, the woman said nothing before the court.
Meanwhile, her husband, Ryan Patrick O'Leary, is also in prison awaiting his judgment.
Her 18-month-old son weighed only 7.7kg when he died in 2019. 39-year-old Sheila O'Leary fed her child only with fruits, vegetables and breast milk. /A2 CNN/
