Over 15 thousand euros worth of smuggled cigarettes in Pristina magistrates Mitrovica

Customs officers at Pristina magistrates Mitrovica, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, have identified a suspicious transport vehicle where even smuggled cigarettes have been found.

Customs reports that initially the vehicle has disobeyed customs officials' orders to stop and attempt to escape, the <x0 best, but thanks to professionalisation of customs and police officials, it has been achieved to prevent the vehicle, while the driver has fled the scene. In this case, 250,000 pieces of cigarettes without smuggled banners have been found in the vehicle. The calculated tax evasions are 15,885.00 Euro”, Dogana reports.

Regarding this case, the prosecution has been announced and criminal investigations have been launched, the vehicle and goods (cigars) have been seized.
