The Bulgarian is wanted for her role in running a cryptomoned fraud scheme known as OneCoin.

Federal investigators accuse the fugitive of using the scheme to deceive victims allegedly under 4 billion dollars.

She disappeared from 2017 when American officials signed an arrest warrant for her.

Ignato is required for its role in running OneCo, a self-declared cryptocle that beginning around 2014 offered commission buyers if they sold the currency to more people.

But FBI agents say OneCoin was worthless and never protected from the Blockchai technology used by the other cryptovas. According to claims made by federal prosecutors, there was essentially a Ponzi scheme disguised as a cryptomone. / A2 CNN
