Fires in Albania/ Five counties involved in flames, the most difficult situation in Lezha

According to the Ministry of Defence, under the co-ordination of the Civil Defence Agency work is being carried out by force and firemen, effective armed forces where their support has been sought, as well as police forces, volunteers and local government employees.

The rapid intervention of FA, fire forces and local government forces has made it possible to avoid the risk of residences by controlling the flames in a hearth of fire, on an area of dry vegetation, and pines on the mountainside at the Boldren curve in Lezha. It's currently working in all directions for the full isolation of the hearth.

According to information received, the isolation of one of the lakes in a forest area of pine trees in the village of Lignin, in the Oros administrative unit in Mirdit. But it is still working on her complete isolation.

There is a significant improvement in the village of Qesarat, administrative unit Livayan, the Finiq municipality, where fire has fallen on a bush, pasture and low vegetation.

The fire has fallen near the mountain of Qesarat in rugged terrain and rocky formations. Firefighters, workers of the Forest Service, volunteers have been engaged in the operation, while a group of 20 people from the municipality have also moved in to support the forces on the ground.

Today's morning is a hearth of fire on a pine surface at the site called “Markesh”, above the cement factory, Krastta area, Kruja municipality.

It's working on a rough terrain that's imperiled by force and means. A fireman from Tirana has also gone in support.

The strong wind has exacerbated the situation in the village of Biza, the incumbent administrative unit, in Durres, where a fire hearth has been activated in a forest area of pines and shrubs, which has also threatened residences. At the scene, seven fire vehicles are being worked by the respective MZSH Durres, Shijak, the Portual Authority and the Kamaz municipality.

The work is being followed by the extinction of other hearths in the Ishme village, where an turned-off hearth was reactivated yesterday, in the Tower village of Manza, near the Mujahedin camp, a fire hearth has been activated in a bush area, in the neighbourhood of No-18, Durres, and in the town of Kruja, where a fire was reported in a residential house.

Two fires have been activated in the village of Plug in Golem, Lushnje, and in Matka district in the town of Roskovec. Both are being isolated by fire forces.

Three fires have been reported in the Shkodra district during today, one in the village of Juban, at the Black Stone administrative unit, where fire forces are working to avoid danger from nearby dwellings. As the work of burning flames follows, so do the other two in the village of Velipoj and the village of Oblica.
