Brnabiq said it “can only assume that the European Parliament will order the European Commission to change that negotiating position”.
The European Commission in its official document, the negotiator stance on chapter 35, which in our case concerns Kosovo and normalisation of relations with Pristina, does not mention a word of recognition, but says sweeping normalisation of relations with Pristina. And then I don't know how to change the negotiating position in the middle of the negotiation process, because these are not small changes in the rules. Regarding the requirement on imposing sanctions on Russia, Brnabiq said Serbia does not have an initial position, a negotiating framework dealing with the common EU foreign and security policy adopted by the European Commission and member states.
