Kurt's government didn't split up the land for Sonny Hill, but a few months ago Cosmote Food was given 25 acres.

One of the world's biggest cultural events that would bring Kosovo names of music, “Sunny Hill Festival” will not be held in Kosovo. The festival fled to Tirana because the government neglected procedures, where it was expected that the organisational company would be given 17 hectares of land, where a cultural park would then be held and that the festival would become its own house.

But, just a few months ago, the Kosovo government did not hesitate to divide 25 hectares of land for the company “Cosmed Foods”. Here, the suspicion is that government proceedings were suspicious and favourable.

The Kosovo Assembly on February 8th 2022, with 67 votes for approval of the Interministerial Commission's recommendation for strategic investments in granting strategic investor status to the company Kosmonte Foods.

Industry, Intervention and Trade Minister Roseta Hajdari had said that through this decision there would be an investment of over 11m euros of the company and employing about 300 people in the medium term 2021-2025. In this case the company has been given 25ha land for 99 years.

By the time the Ministry of Commerce sent the company's name to Government, there were 40 other applications on the table. Even one of the companies that was recommended as investors by the former Avdullah Hoti government had been turned back from the Kurti government.

The land I've been given in the use of the company “Computer Foods” is owned by the Agency of Questions located in Fushe Kosovo, and the property was used earlier by the company.

To the company in question, the Question Agency had filed charges for disrespect of the contract, while shortly before the Government voted for Strategic Investors, the Ministry of Agriculture, which is headed by Faton Peci, had withdrawn the indictment from the court. The indictment was made by former government.

The Ministry of Agriculture was not interested in the court's epilogue, wanted the company to be equipped with the Strategic Investors' passport for what state benefits would be.

One company, cannot be recommended for Strategic Investors if there are problems with the law. This is also defined in the Admistic Guide (QKR) 15/2018 For the method and methods of meeting the Criterries for establishing Strategic Investors Status.

At times, it had failed in the Assembly, the government's request to send this project away, as the government most insistly opposed it because of problems with the law.

Beale one of the Parliament's deputies has publicly stated that the company was previously usurped for years as a piece of land, which was later given letters by the Government. He had said that the case is for the prosecutor, not to be given land.

“Suny Festival 2022”, which was expected to be held in Pristina in August, has been cancelled.

This is made known by the official page of “Sunny Hill” and also the founder of this festival, Dukagjin Lipa. The same has accused the government of failing to do the job at the time for the division of the location, where the festival would be held.

Reactions have taken place by all social groups in Kosovo, throwing fierce criticism in the direction of the government. /Periscopi/
