Vuciq made sure that even at this meeting he will thank the EU state that continues not to recognise Kosovo's independence.
“Vuciq thanked Greece for its firm stand on the respect of Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for its efforts during the presidency of the Southeast European Co-operation Process, adding that Serbia praises Greece's continued support for Serbia's European integration and its active commitment”, the Serbian presidency said in the statement.
Vucic also told the Greek top diplomat that Serbia is of great importance to relations with Greece, which is based on strong friendship, historically confirmed proximity and solidarity of two peoples.
When talking about regional co-operation, Vuciq introduced Serbia as a country that wants “to preserve the stability and orientation of all countries in the region towards more intense co-operation in all areas, because only such a region enables the sustainable development of Serbia itself”.
