Among the schemes are mixers, an exchanger that divides the cryptovalutes into small wallets, combines and mixs with regular cryptovalutes. Moving from the mixer to the mix makes it very difficult, but not impossible, finding the source and passing these transactions.
The other way is gaming or gambling online. Using wallets in crypto, people can play in casinos, money from there can be declared because it is legal in some way. We have unregulated exchanging in many countries, or exchange dark, which can work for money laundering”, Semanaj said at “Euronews Albania”.
He underlined that based on Albanian legislation, the production of cryptovalutes is not banned.
