That, in no direct way, has been confirmed by the German Chancellor's office in Berlin.
In a written response to RTKlive, the German Chancellor's office has been asked about Scholz's visit to Western Balkan countries.
This, after reporting the DW in the Serbian language, is expected to stay in Serbia and several other countries in the region, starting in June 10th.
Chancellor Scholz's office recommends that for the answer, he should now be watched and given his speech in Bundestag on Thursday 19 May.
The fact that there are no shortcuts to the EU is also a fair request to six countries in the Western Balkans”, Scholz was quoted as saying.
In that long speech, Scholz had spoken in clear sentences to the six Western Balkan countries.
In his address to German deputies, according to Chancellor Scholz's office, he was quoted as saying that-“for years these six countries have undertaken intensive reforms and are preparing for membership”.
Keeping promises to them is not just a matter of our credibility. Now more than ever, their integration is also in our strategic interest”, Scholz said before German lawmakers.
It's not just about the safety of this region, where outside forces are fighting for influence, not less here, is Russia”.
Sscholz has said that- “is about our security, which cannot be without a stable Western European Balkans. Therefore, the EU must now give this Western Balkans”.
In the question of Scholz's coming to Kosovo as well as the topics he might discuss, in the response of the German Chancellor's office, writes that another statement should be taken into account, in the speech given on May 19th in Bundestag.
And this is what I am engaged in: holding talks to achieve progress in the negotiations and also removing recent obstacles within the EU, resurrecting the so-called Berlin Process, which strengthens regional co-operation among six Western Balkan countries, and traveling to the region before the June European Council meeting, with a clear message with itself-the Western Balkans belongs to the European Union”, said Scholz in his address in the Bundag, which the German Chancellor's media office suggests as the answer to the questions in the Balkans, whether he will come with June 10th, or visit the pages he will handle.
Otherwise, a day earlier it was reported that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is scheduled to visit Serbia and countries in the region on 10 June.
DW diplomatic sources, the Serbian-language programme, say the goal of this visit to the Balkans, is good preparation for the Berlin Process summit.
“We are trying for that date, but the visit has yet to be co-ordinated with other countries in the region”, the source said.
According to him, Scholz, except for Serbia, will certainly visit Kosovo, and travel seeks to turn into a small Balkan tour, with visits to Albania and Northern Macedonia, and possibly even Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Referring to safe sources from Berlin, he said the topics would be <x0nergy, economy, Serbia's stance on Russia” and others.
