Before visiting Pristina, Schelz's office tells of messages German Chancellor will bring to the Balkans

That, in no direct way, has been confirmed by the German Chancellor's office in Berlin.

In a written response to RTKlive, the German Chancellor's office has been asked about Scholz's visit to Western Balkan countries.

This, after reporting the DW in the Serbian language, is expected to stay in Serbia and several other countries in the region, starting in June 10th.

DW diplomatic sources, the Serbian-language programme, say the goal of this visit to the Balkans, is good preparation for the Berlin Process summit.

“We are trying for that date, but the visit has yet to be co-ordinated with other countries in the region”, the source said.

According to him, Scholz, except for Serbia, will certainly visit Kosovo, and travel seeks to turn into a small Balkan tour, with visits to Albania and Northern Macedonia, and possibly even Bosnia and Herzegovina.
