Through a Facebook post, he has asked what is hiding in the decision to reject American gas.
Tahiri has said how it can be politically good for Kosovo to be the only country in the region that rejects American gas through Greece.

American gas, Kosovo refusal
Why is there no debate with professionals, professors, academics and citizens?
Why is there no transparency? What is hiding in this decision?
The refusal of American gas is the strategic and economic political error of this government.
How can they politically benefit Kosovo from being the only country in the region that rejects American gas through Greece?
This is a logical question for the Government of Kosovo and any non-mitant citizens! So is there political, logical and strategic explanation for this decision of the Government of Kosovo?
In economic terms, let the Government of Kosovo publish feasibility studies/if it has economic arguments, why is the refusal of American gas an economically good decision for Kosovo?
And yet the logical question, why did Kosovo's “economic arguments” not use Macedonia, nor Serbia when deciding to accept and reject me as Kosovo American gas through Greece?
Does the Government of Kosovo have better economic experts than Albania, Macedonia, Serbia-Montenegro? So far unfortunately for Kosovo, the answer is no.
The consequences of this decision to reject American gas will be suffered by the citizens of Kosovo, paying higher energy bills, but also by paying incalculable political currency at this moment.
