A double murder occurred this morning in northern Mitrovica. About 5 o'clock in the morning at the apartment at “crayle Petri“in Mitrovica North, suspect M.B., for now unknown motives have deprived his father M.B. and twin brother U.B.
With this suspect committed criminal work “grave murder” by Article 173 paragraph 1 point 1.3 of 1.11 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
Based on earlier investigations, the victims were allegedly stabbed in the body.
Police and guardian prosecutor of the Department of Foundation Crimes in Mitrovica have appeared at the scene, and by order of the prosecutor, lifeless troops have been sent to the Legal Medicine Institute in Pristina for autopsy.
The suspect has been arrested by police, and with the state prosecutor's decision it has been detained for 48 hours, and the same within the legal deadline will be applied for the appointment of the detention measure to the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica.
