Returning electricity reductions warned following Appeals' decision on expensive tariffs

Electricity reductions can return to Kosovo. Such a warning has been given by Sitem, Transmission and Market Operator (KOSTT)

COSTT's warning comes after the Court of Appeals confirmed the Foundation's decision to suspend expensive tariffs imposed by the Energy Regulatory Office( ZRRE).

From this company, it has called for quick measures to be taken to address the sector's cost issue, whether through increased tariffs or subsidy, to avoid reductions.

“COMM STT raises its voice on the inability to cover the costs caused and those expected to occur if no quick measures are taken to address the sector costs issue, whether through increased tariffs or subsidies. If these actions do not occur then the security of the country's electricity supply will be jeopardised, measures to reduce consumption will be applied, and the COST Agreement is seriously jeopardised. ENTSO-E”, says the company's response.
