After Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the world's largest fast-food chain decided to close its 847 restaurants in Russia in March and lost $50m. He now expects to have a free cost of about $1.2 billion to $1.4 billion.
The first McDonald's branch office in the Soviet Union opened in 1990.
McDonald's said she'd like to sell all her restaurants in Russia to a local client, but she'd continue to store the brand.
