Economy experts: The current government has shown no results

Furthermore, economic experts stress that large projects should not be halted in the country, as their continuation would affect the prosperity of the economy.

Even economic connoisseur Erton Bega for Online Economy said the economic situation is extremely serious.

According to him, the revision of fiscal policies should be made, lowering TVS, reducing excises, becoming the index of social packages, as well as indexing public sector wages.

The current price crisis is exceeded in some ways. But we have no control over the factors that have affected this crisis. One of the crises that can be affected by the stoppage of this is the review of fiscal policies for a certain period of time through lowering TVS and reducing excises in certain products. Bega stresses that large projects should not be cancelled as there is a chain effect on the economy related to employment, income and money flow.

“Capital projects which are planned with this year's budget should not be cancelled. The government is able to increase public debt because it is low, lowest in the region and finance these projects. Their ban, which is so obvious because of the failure to function the Procuration Organization, negatively affects the economy because it blocks tools that would affect the growth of the economy, given the problems that Kosovo is now facing now”.

So there is a chain effect on the economy that is directly related to employment and also to income levels. Because Kosovo has a consumer-based economy and the development of public projects has a direct effect on the flow of money, which promotes aggregate demand and results in economic growth”.
