Vuciq mentions Association at the meeting with Donfreed: Our side has fulfilled its obligations

Assistant Secretary of State for European and Asian Affairs Karen Donfried stressed that the United States strongly defends that the entire Western Balkan region joins the European Union and reiterated that this is one of the foreign policy priorities of the region. Welcoming the “Balkan initiative, the open Balkans, and Serbia's goal to put economic issues in focus of regional co-operation, US Assistant Secretary of State stressed that this initiative presents an opportunity to better promote the region's investment potential.
Our “Pala has fulfilled her obligations, while Pristina is insistingly avoiding implementation of its obligations. Even nine years after the arrival of the Brussels Agreement and the implementation plan, the founding of the Serb majority municipalities' Association has not started”, said Vuciq, Danas.
During the meeting in Belgrade on Tuesday, Vuciq also mentioned the Open Balkans “”, saying he is an example of successful regional co-operation.
According to the presidency of Serbia, US Assistant Secretary Donfreed has welcomed the “Open Balkans initiative”, saying it is possible to promote the region's investment potential.
The president welcomed the presence of numerous American and important companies operating successfully in Serbia.
