Talat Xhaferi, first Albanian politician to visit Ukraine

Northern Macedonia Speaker Talat Xhaferi is the first Albanian politician to visit Ukraine.

The visit was made at the invitation of his Ukrainian counterpart, Ruslan Stefanchuk.

Xhaferi said that war smells different and that it is different from what it looks like in the photograph.

“Today, at the invitation of my counterpart Stefancuk I am visiting Kiev. I visited Irpin and Hosttomel. The war smells different at the scene, unlike the one in the photograph. Silence is different in combat zones”
