Moscow, however, has now warned Washington against sending more weapons to its rival as the war in Ukraine approaches the tenth week.
“We stressed the disregard for this situation when the United States sends weapons to Ukraine and asked for an end to this practice”, said Anatoly Antonov, Russia's ambassador to the US.
He added that an official diplomatic note has been sent to Washington.
