Moscow has accused Croatia of having an anti-Russian policy for failing to ensure the <x0-humanist transition” for 24 Russian diplomats and embassy personnel who were expelled from the country because of the war in Ukraine.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Monday that Croatia's government “is systematically destroying bilateral relations”, according to Russian news agency T. ASS, writes Aljazeera, broadcasts Clancosova.tv.
Croatia has attended several other European Union states in the expulsion of Russian diplomats. Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said Zakharova's claims were Russian propaganda and that the expelled Russians had already fled the country, perhaps through neighbouring Serbia.
