Israeli prime minister reacts to massacre in Butcha, but does not accuse Russia of war crimes

Israeli Prime Minister Naphtali Bennett on Tuesday has condemned the massacre in Butcha Ukraine, four days after publishing the mass damage photos done to civilians, but did not accuse Russia of war crimes, writes the Jerusalem Post, Pryskopi explains. “We're shocked by what we're seeing in Butcha, horrible views [...]
We're shocked by what we're seeing in Butcha, terrible views and we punish them. The pictures are very painful. The suffering of Ukrainian citizens is great and we are doing everything we can to help them”, Bennett said.
Unlike Bennett, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid said Sunday that “is impossible to remain indifferent to terrible views from the town of Buka near Kiev, following the Russian Army's departure. The deliberate damage to the civilian population constitutes a war crime and I strongly condemn it”.
The troops were found on the streets of Buka, shortly after Ukraine regained control of the village during the weekend. Hundreds of civilians were found in mass graves. Some of them with their hands tied behind them, which seemed to have been shot from a nearby distance.
