Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Melza Haradinaj- Stublla has reacted to Kosovo's top diplomat, Donika Grovalla-Schwarz, after a meeting with Palestine Foreign Minister Al-Maliki, who reportedly was kept secret.

This response, Haradinaj- Stublla, has done through a post in the official account at '%Facebookı, saying that the minister's nontransparency harms Kosovo and Israel's relations, which she calls “without properly consolidation”.

“The minister's nontransparency over her meeting with the Palestinian minister harms Kosovo, undermines the new relationship with Israel yet not properly consolidates Kosovo's long-term interests to ensure new recognitions by the Middle East states, and helps Serbia's position to strengthen the international coalition against the subjectivity of our state”, the former Kosovo diplomat has declared among other countries.

“ ...that's why Kosovo has no moral responsibility towards Palestine, and the minister has not had to feel indebted by keeping it away from the public!”, she added further.

Full Posting:

The report after nearly a month that MPJD Donika Grovalla Schwarz has met with Palestinian authorities' Foreign Minister Al-Maliki during the Antalya Forum, speaks a lot about the lack of political privacy and diplomatic inadequacy to stand firmly on the ground behind our positions and interests as state and people.

The minister's lack of transparency over her meeting with the Palestinian minister harms Kosovo, damages the new relationship with Israel still without being properly consolidated, damages Kosovo's long-term interests to ensure new recognition by Middle East states, and helps Serbia's position to strengthen the international co-ordination against the subjectivity of our state.

Kosovo, in addition to working hard to build formal diplomatic relations with the state of Israel, has made great efforts to counter Serbia's illegal campaign to prevent and undermine existing and potential recognitions of the Republic of Kosovo. Here, for years now, it has been known that much has been helped by Palestinian authorities, exploiting their close historical relationship with some Middle Eastern states. Let's not forget that this campaign had taken place yet without Kosovo establishing diplomatic relations with Israel and still not deciding on the opening of the embassy in Jerusalem!

Therefore, Kosovo has no moral responsibility to Palestine, and the minister has not had to feel indebted by keeping the public away!

She had to clearly rank at the meeting and also immediately announce all the arguments of Kosovo, because we are on our right to be sovereign. Furthermore, Kosovo's decision to open embassy in Jerusalem in March 2021 IT WAS no decision for or against Israel or Palestine. Kosovo has simply followed the diplomatic practice of placing the embassy where the host state considers the capital and government administrative headquarters. Since the sensitivity of this subject was high, we have seen to it that the object of our embassy is in the western part very close to the American Embassy, not in the eastern part of the city that according to the 1993 Oslo Agreement belongs to Palestine.

Our minister's silence turned down all this effort, giving diplomatic ground only to Palestine and Serbia to amplify their message of interest that conflicts with Kosovo's state interests and automatically putting Kosovo in a defanzi and harmful position.

MPJD urgently needs to be clarified with a public statement in Albanian and English about meeting, topics, and the position of Kosovo about what it has declared The MPJ of Palestinian authorities after meeting with Kosovo, to repair the damage already caused with the friendly state of Israel. /Persycopi/
