Civil Code promoted debate in society, will become three formulas for the contestive article

MD has not indicated whether its contents will change, but RTV Duagjini learns that there will be three formulas for the opposing article, which concerns civil communities between persons of the same gender.

Civil draft, which failed to be approved three weeks ago, is not yet known when it will be re-elected to the Assembly.

The legislature at the March 16th session failed to approve this first-read draft after power and opposition deputies rejected a specific article.

The Justice Ministry says it has accepted the Parliament's decision and that it will soon re-procedure the document to this institution.

However, MD has not indicated whether the projectcod will change or send the same version again.

Out of 61 MPs as many as have voted, 29 opposed the draft code, 28 for and 4 abstentions.

Duagjini television teaches from its sources within the Justice Ministry that three versions of the contestive article are expected to be formulated to see which of them can be supported by LVV deputies.

But each of the versions includes recognition of the civil community to LGBT.

The Vetevendosje movement says it must see the version the ministry will send to follow its positions.

Opposed Article number 1138 is found in the draft marriage chapter that was rejected.

Article 37 of the Constitution, point 1, says that based on free consent, everyone enjoys the right to marry and the right to raise families in accordance with the law.

And Article 2 determines that marriage and its solution are regulated by law and based on marital equality.
