Lavrov has said Kosovo has been self-declared as he said he is trying to gain international recognition by relying on the US and NATO.
“Pristina, capital of the self-declared state of Kosovo, is only trying to gain international recognition of itself by supporting the United States and NATO”, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told Serbian media on Monday.
In addition, Lavrov has said that Kosovo is a separate criminal state, and that she is simply trying to exploit this situation toudoindependence.
“As far as Pristina's support for Kiev is concerned, I think everything is clear about it.
It is not that Pristina, self-declared as they all see it, a quasi criminal state, thinks and cares for international law”, Lavrov said, adding:
It simply wants to take advantage of the situation to recognise its preference and positions as if it were the main ally of the US and NATO in the Balkans. / PERISCOP
