The Russian federata proclaims a truce at 10am (at Moscow hour) on March 8,”, for evacuation of civilians from Kiev and other cities.
These are the cities of Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Mariupol”, the Russian Defence Ministry in charge of humanitarian operations in Ukraine said in a statement broadcast by Russian news agencies, Hina said.
The third round of Russian-Ukrainian talks ended in Belarus on Monday evening, with Ukrainians saying positive “ ” results had been achieved in humanitarian corridors and Russians said that “could have become more”.
“We have achieved some positive results in logistics for humanitarian corridors,” wrote on Twitter Mihajlo Podoljak, a Ukrainian president's adviser and a member of the negotiating delegation.
The third round of negotiations was held in Belovezskaya Pushcha, a national park on the Belarus-Polon border.
Following further talks last week, it was agreed Thursday to open humanitarian corridors for civilians in areas of fierce fighting.
However, the agreement was not implemented and Ukraine and Russia accuses each other of preventing evacuation of civilians.
Earlier Monday, Moscow said humanitarian corridors would go to Belarus or Russia, which Ukraine described as a highly immoral “ ”, as Ukrainians should be able to leave their homes through Ukrainian territory.
