Numerous nongovernmental organisations and ambassadors of European Union countries have participated in the organised march in support of the Ukrainian people.
President Vjosa Osmani also attended the event.
Osmani said Kosovo is ready to host refugees from Ukraine, Klan Kosova reports.
We've been addressing this issue since the first day of the Russian attack in Ukraine. We initiated this with relevant institutions. A resolution on the Kosovo Assembly has already been adopted, and all the capacities we have built to host refugees from Ukraine”.
The first of the state stressed that Kosovo has joined the Allies to hold Russian President Vladimir Putin accountable for crimes committed in Ukraine.
“We stand firm with the people of Ukraine as we have stayed throughout history with the lyric peoples around the world. Of course, what Ukraine's people are experiencing brings back memories of the serious wounds that have been caused on every citizen of Kosovo by the genocide regime of Serbia”.
So we have joined the democratic world, we have joined our allies not only to condemn Russian aggression over Ukraine, but at the same time to seek accounts for war crimes and dictator Putin”.
