EMRES: Russian individuals and entities who were sanctioned by Kosovo Government

With these sanctions, individuals and entities on the list, assets will be raised, restricted from travel to the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, and prohibited from individuals or entities in the Republic of Kosovo to make funds available, whether directly or indirectly, for individuals or entities that have been sanctioned.
The names of individuals and sanctioned entities are those listed in the annexes of the European Union Council's regulatory acts referred to at 1. of this decision. Sanctions will be on the ground, up to another decision, and depending on the circumstances can be updated”, the Government's decision says.
Otherwise, before the Government approved the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' request to impose these sanctions, Prime Minister Albin Kurti had said that the Western states are on their side to ensure peace and security in the world, following Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

We have as the first point of reviewing the proposal, with which the Kosovo government imposes sanctions in line with US and EU Council sanctions on actions that undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine”, Kurti has said.
Later, Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Minister Donika Grovalla during the presentation of this proposal has said Kosovo should join the democratic world by imposing sanctions on Russia after the start of aggression against Ukraine.
