“Kosovo has been independent for 14 years, but there are several European Union countries (BE) that do not recognise it. I call on Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Slovakia and Spain to reconsider their position and recognise Kosovo as an independent nation so that Kosovo can have a way into the EU”, Congresswoman Torres has said.
The following is Mr. Chairman's post. Ritchie Torres and his letter to the states in question:
Kosovo has been independent for 14 years, but there are several European Union countries (BE) that do not recognise it. I call on Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Slovakia and Spain to reconsider their position and recognise Kosovo as an independent nation so that Kosovo can have a way into the EU.
