The question of wandering dogs in Pristina is problematic over the years.
Many of the citizens constantly complain about the problems posed to them by these wanderers.
Linked to this today by the Pristina Community have announced that following the founding of Task-Forces as an internal municipal group today, the working Group was also established for the treatment of wandering dogs in the Pristina municipality with acts both inside and outside municipal structures.
The working group consists of:
Pristina municipality é leader;
Local Power Management Ministry (MAPL) member;
Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development (MBPZHR) member;
Kosovo Food and Veterinary Agency (AUVK) member;
Kosovo veterinarians' Oda (OVK) member;
Kosovo police (PK) member;
The Foundation for Animal Rights (FDK), as an umbrella co-ordinated with other association members;
Kosovo Communists association (AKK).
Pristina's <x0->communa has developed short, medium-term and long-term strategies for resolving the problem of wandering dogs, which will be put into national strategy.
MAPL has been set as the focus point for drafting strategy and legal and financial regulation, this very important aspect for solving this problem”, says the report.
Progress Rama, however, is determined that the problem of wandering dogs is seriously addressed in close co-operation with all participants, the central level and all the municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.
