Ukrainian General Syrsky in a statement for Skynews said that the Russian invasion “would not simply be like a walk in the park” adding “ky is a warning... we will make sure that we fight to the last breath of every meter of our land”.
His statement comes after tensions with Russia.
Meanwhile, Great Britain's Foreign Secretary, Lizz Truss, is standing in Moscow for talks with Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in the wake of efforts to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis in Ukraine.
Trusss called for Russia to “shimang bleeding” as he informed the Russian minister that “war in Ukraine would be disastrous for the Russian and Ukrainian people”.
Lavrov said the Kremlin is ready for diplomatic talks, but only if there is mutual respect “” with London, while stressing that threats to Russia are “roads that lead nowhere”.
These comments follow warnings coming from the commander of the Ukrainian Land Forces who said his soldiers are willing to fight until the last breath to protect their country's every shell, writes Independent, Periscope.
On the other hand, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson indicated yesterday that he has put 1,000 British troops on alert to increase NATO's presence in Eastern Europe.
