Tahiri says the Law of Salaries must be adjusted, not fall

The head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo's Parliamentary Group, Besnik Tahiri, has declared that shifting the debate on the Law of Salaries to the media, without real dialogue with institutional partners and with the Parliament, undermines this process that began. “State of the debate on the Law of Salats in the media without real dialogue taking place [...]
The resolution of the debate on the Law of Salats in the media without real dialogue with institutional partners taking place and with the Parliament undermining the process at launch. No reflection in the Constitutional Court's Act on Independent Constitutional Institutions is a clear tendency to fail the law. Even the 8th extension itself, the chief minister's salary, is greater than in Independent Regulatory Agency”, Tahiri wrote.
According to Tahiri, there should be added caution in the Law of Salaries in the appendix of education, health and police.
“in particular, policy-level accommodation and problems in the appendix of education, health and police should be taken seriously and reflected. It is important that wage predictability not be jeopardised in the process of administration, issues that were then removed during two readings, despite my insistence and the government. Since this process consolidates the fundamentals of payment for state administration, but even incarnation with this issue, we have all the commitment to contributing to this law coming to light”, Tahiri wrote.
Tahiri has proposed several points which he says should be necessary in the Law of the Salaries.
“As your first contribution and recommendations, I deem it necessary: "Go up the value of the cofficiency; The process will clearly be communicated not to create uncertainty and growth of the gap with union representatives; The sides start serious dialogue on clear principles regulating the process; The problems identified by the Constitutional Court's act be reflected overall; Reflect the views of civil society and international partners: EU, SIGMA, World Bank and valuable professionals in administration; To discuss with the opposition to inform them of the process and enhance consensus on a vital process such as this of the Law of Salaries”, Tahiri wrote on Facebook.
Otherwise, on Tuesday it was reported that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has eaten the final draft of the Law of Salaries, for the salaries of public officials, including wages for the president, prime minister, and the KSF recruit.
But, hours later, this news has been denied by Interior Minister Jedal Svechla.
Svecla has written that reports of salary increases with the new Law on institutions officials are true.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs wants to inform citizens that the wave of warnings that are rapidly spreading to our media about the law on public officials' salaries is untrue and malicious. Nor does it have a final draft of the law on public officials' salaries, nor does it have any value of the cofficiency. The value of the cofficient will not be part of the law on public officials' salaries, since the same is determined with the budget law. This wave of dezinforms is aimed at creating confusion and creating artificial expectations with the idea that these expectations could then very easily be misused for inciting discontent and raising irrelevant arguments”, he wrote.
Foreign Minister Svechla said the ministry leading the ministry will share a final draft with the public whenever it is finalised.
We suggest that our ministry will share the final draft with the public at the moment when the same is finalised”, Svechla has said.
