With more sanctions, America can sew Belarus

The White House is closely monitoring the actions taken by Belarus and is prepared to impose more sanctions on the country amid reports that Belarusn forces could unite Russia in its invasion in Ukraine, a senior administration official said.

“We are looking at those events very carefully,” said the official when asked about intelligence reports showing Belarus is prepared to join the Russian occupation.

“We have said that to the extent Belarus continues to help and encourage Russia's aggression in Ukraine, they will also face consequences”, the official said.

“We have already implemented some of those measures. These costs will continue to rise greatly,” he added, broadcast CNN.
