Police launch investigation into 56-year-old Lipjan's death, allegedly neglected by doctors

A 56-year-old has died as a result of doctors' failure at the Main Centre of Family Medicine in Lipjan. Kosovo police have announced that investigations have been launched on this case, while a doctor has been suspended.

Through a media report, police have announced that the investigation into the case has begun, while the 56-year-old victim has been sent for organisation.

“Hetim on Pristina death, 05 February 2022 Today we have accepted information, in a case of the suspicious death in KKUK in Pristina. It's about the person: M.G., male, 56, Lipjan Circle. Once the police received the information, they began immediately with the investigative action company aimed at clarifying the random circumstances. Despite the allegations raised, police are carefully investigating the case and taking all relevant investigative actions in co-ordination with the state prosecutor that would contribute to the investigation of the event, while the victim's lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine for Ex1>, Kosovo Police reported.
