NATO launches additional troops in Eastern Europe: Let no one be deceived by Russian lies

NATO countries will send more troops to Eastern Europe in the middle of Ukraine's Russian occupation, world leaders have announced, Periscopi reports.

In a joint statement, the 30 NATO leaders said: “nobody should be deceived by the Russian government's string of lies”.

This decision comes after a virtual summit led by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, where allied countries said Moscow had lied about its intentions.

“We are currently making significant additional protective delocations of forces in the eastern part of the” coalition, it says in the statement, without providing more details. / P ERISCOPI/
