Klitschko: We're close to a humanitarian disaster. All roads are blocked.

Vitaly Klitschko, the mayor of Kiev and former world boxing champion on heavy loads, has described Ukraine's capital as being surrounded, saying evacuation of civilians would not be possible because all roads are blocked, reports The Guardian, broadcast Periscope.

“We are close to a humanitarian catastrophe,” he told the Associated Press on Sunday, as a curfew continues in the city.

Now we have electricity, now we have water and heat in our homes. But infrastructure is destroyed to provide food and treatment.”, he added.
