Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, on February 17th, State Independence Day, has accepted telegram congratulations from Italy's president, Sergio Mattella.
In a media communiqué, it becomes known that Italy has said it will continue to support Kosovo in its efforts to consolidate democratic institutions.
In the continuation of the friendship and closeness that unites our countries, Italy will continue to support Kosovo in its efforts to consolidate democratic institutions, in a European perspective that we hope will be increasingly vulnerable. In that spirit, we will continue to work to bring Kosovo and its civil society closer to Europe, especially the new generations”, says Mattarella President's telegram.
President Mattarella has said Italy will continue to be in the face of peace and security in the Balkans.
“This proves our role in NATO's mission, KFOR, which we will continue to guarantee without avoiding our commitments”, is said in addition to others in the Mattarella telegram.
