Prime Minister Albin Kurti is being criticised by the opposition, civil society for today's speech in the Kosovo Assembly. That is after Kurti spoke about his achievements, but so did the challenges of his government.
What caused the opposition to release the hall, here's part of Kurt's speech in the Assembly:
Where we are as friends and as a people.
The coming month is two years of confronting pandemic.
We have lost loved ones and relatives. Children have lost valuable time near school banks. Health workers have put lives at risk, businesses have suffered losses.
Beyond the direct consequences to our health, the pandemic brought crisis into our economy.
In a world connected as never before, crises are never more local.
After a long pause, the opening of economies caused the rapid demand to exceed the capacity for production and distribution.
This caused price increases in many sectors, especially energy.
The crises that have conveyed our country from the beginning have tested our ability to operate in unexpected environments with limited means.
Crime with pandemics and with energy affected each country, but it also highlighted the lack of long-term planning and strategic planning.
We need to find social consensus on capital issues.
