Hoxhaj, through a post on the social network Facebook, has said that while he was foreign minister, he worked with Steinmeier very close.
He has now said that Kosovo is lucky to have friends such as Steinmeier in Germany.
My good friend Frank Walter Steinmeier for re-election President of Germany. As soon as I was foreign minister we had very close co-operation and today I say with great confidence that Kosovo is fortunate to have friends such as Steinmeier in Germany. Grateful to him and his country for the support it has given Kosovo to establish a democratic state.
