More than 800 families facing difficult times will take vacations and trips thanks to a new government fund.
Parents, stewards, and young ones who experience difficulties will be given vacations in England during the coming months.
The 700 thousand-euro initiative, called “Anglia for all” which is financed by the Department for Digitalism, Culture, Media and Sports, will allow those with financial shortages, as well as those facing disease, isolation or loss, to flee the daily reality.
Directed in partnership with Visit England and Family Holiday Charity, the fund will offer trips to camps, houses, caravans and cottages across the country.
Vacation coupons will be provided to help cover transportation, accommodation and travel food, reports Sky News, Klankosova.tv.
The government noted a study by Family Holiday Charity showing that short holidays can have great benefits, with 85 per cent of households showing that children who had a vacation went to school more regularly.
The charity has helped more than 48 thousand families since the beginning of 1975, with its criteria of compliance, including low income and other factors such as long - term illness, loss, disability, family abuse, or additional care responsibility.
