Blinken talks with Lavrov, wants de-proportion of the situation about Ukraine

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has on Saturday held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, with whom he discussed “acute and common concerns that Russia could consider launching further military aggression against Ukraine in the days following” and sought a diplomatic solution, has made [...]
The call comes just hours before US President Joe Biden and Russia's Vladimir Putin speak by phone, and after the State Department has ordered the evacuation of most of his embassy staff to Ukraine.
“The Secretary made it clear that a diplomatic path to resolving the crisis remained open, but that would require Moscow to break down and engage in confidential discussions”, Price has said.
Russia has continued to increase its presence along Ukraine's borders in recent days and Blinken “reiterated that if Moscow follows the path of aggression and further invades Ukraine, it would result in a determined, massive and transatlantic united response.
